Kentucky Hills

We spent over a week at Diamond Lake in Owensboro Kentucky enjoying the beautiful weather…until a tornado hit! We had spent the day fishing in the lake and riding bikes. Thankfully we decided to eat dinner at the Irish Pub just outside the campground when we started hearing the tornado sirens. Everyone in the restaurant crowded outside the entrance and just watched in awe as the sky turned purple and black. The owner of the bar herded us all like cattle into the walk in freezers. We were starving and so cold but at least we were safer than being in the camper. They had just delivered our wings and drinks so of course my husband brought his drink and a wing with us….priorities people!!!
